The Aram Theory is a new design studio developing limited edition textile based homewares. The debut range Utopia features thoughtfully designed cushions aimed to become creative building blocks and assist you in realising your own sense of Nirvana in your space.
Founder and Designer, Mara Kapsis incorporates her whimsical botanical illustrations with textural photography to create these distinctive pieces.
Designed and made in Melbourne, the artwork is printed on a blend of hemp and organic cotton with each product bearing a unique edition number. Beautiful fastenings such as oversized wooden buttons and brass rivets are the perfect finishing touch.
In addition to this work, The Aram Theory also offers services in custom designed textiles and stationery as well as wedding and event styling.
With a background as an Automotive Colour and Trim Designer, Mara’s passion for the textiles lead her to developing a range of hand printed homewares and napery that soon grew into The Aram Theory. As well as extensive experience supporting Amy Wright of Wunderplant as a floral stylist assistant, she has recently been exploring the world of set design with independent theatre company Q44.
